So true. I was born in 1944 and have seen the change in diet of Americans over the years. I grew up eating raw veggies from my parents garden. With 6 children in my family portions of meat were small but we loved the fresh fruits and vegetables on our 83 acres of useable farm. Dad was a vegetable farmer and I learned to love veggies as a child.
